What is Registered Massage Therapy?
As a Registered Health Care Practitioner my only goal is to help you feel and live better. Massage Therapy consists primarily of hands on treatment of the soft tissues of the body, specifically muscles, tendons, connective tissue and joints with the purpose of decreasing muscular tension and stress. Regular Massage has been shown to have benefits of the nervous and circulatory systems as well.
I am specifically interested in pain science, fascial connections and restrictions, movement dysfunction, and promoting exercise as therapy.
I offer Mobile Massage - where I bring everything to your home and /or office.
I also work out of my home clinic seeing clients in Plattsville, Ontario.
Registered Massage Therapy is covered under most extended Health Care Plans.
What is Pilates Reformer ?
The Pilates Reformer may be the best piece of exercise equipment ever created. (Maybe I am just bias!)
Pilates is everything that your body craves. The Pilates Method brings together balance, control, precision to create an integrated core system. Utilizing the Pilates Reformer, Tower and Jump board - we use springs and resistance to create specific sequences designed for your body. This is also pre and postnatal friendly.
The Reformer is used both therapeutically and clinically.
What is Personal Training?
I want to give you the tools to live live functionally and without pain. Often, pain is a signal that something isn’t functioning properly within the body. With assessment and re-assessments we discover where the imbalances are and use our movement practice to target the imbalances. I find that there is almost always an underlining theme of muscle weakness, somewhere in the body, causing other muscles to become overused or misused.
Proper exercise is a cornerstone for good health. Strength training benefits bone density, improves muscle mass and function and targets the imbalances in the body.
I focus on the four pillars of Movement Quality - Stability & Mobility, Strength & Conditioning, Aerobic Capacity and lastly, performance.
Equipment that may used - squat rack, resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX & a rower.
First session is a a full body assessment to discover range of motion, strength and movement limitations and to set goals. Re-assessment in 10-12 weeks.
Personalized workouts and home-care plans included.
WHat is Corporate Wellness and Massage?
Massage and fitness services that are provided for employees at the office. Excellent for employment engagement, team building and employment appreciation and stress reduction.
”Lunch Break Fitness” includes yoga, pilates or body weight movements all aimed to reduce tension and stress, reduce discomfort and increase energy at the workplace. This can be weekly fitness classes, or one time engagements.
Multiple packages available based on need, time and budget.

I consider your fitness goals, your strength and your limitations to create a a detailed, balanced routine. The Tailored Fitness Plans are designed for your body, to do at your own pace and in your own space, with the equipment you have available.
